Early Life and Challenges

I was born to parents who fought against addiction and mental illness. Growing up in such a challenging environment taught me resilience and the importance of perseverance.

At the age of 17, I faced one of the most difficult moments in my life when I lost my mother following a long stint in jail. This devastating loss sent me into a tumultuous period, during which I dropped out of college after my freshman year and experienced homelessness for several months.

Turning Point

In search of stability and direction, I made a life-changing decision to join the United States Air Force. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a transformative journey. During my 14.5 years of service, I not only found a sense of stability but also the confidence to restart my education.

While serving, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and my first Master’s degree in Education, achievements that were pivotal in reshaping my outlook.

Career Transition

Upon leaving the Air Force, I transitioned to the civilian workforce, bringing with me the discipline and leadership skills honed during my military career.

I joined a startup, where I could channel my strategic thinking and operational expertise into driving business growth and innovation. This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and technology.

Educational Pursuits

Continuing my quest for knowledge and personal development, I pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Brown University and IE Business School. This prestigious dual-degree program equipped me with advanced business acumen and a global perspective, further enhancing my ability to lead and inspire.

Today, I am committed to leveraging my diverse experiences to make a positive impact. Whether through advocating for social causes, driving business innovation, or mentoring others facing adversity, I am mandated to make a difference.
